58th Anniversary of the youth day in Cameroon

The main focused is to equipped adolescents’ girls and single mothers with valuable skills and that can contribute to their economic independence. The workshop provides participants with knowledge and techniques to creates beautiful marketable beads products. Beads making is a versatile and creative craft that has the potential to become a profitable business.

Summary of the work done

Increase in the annual warehouse maize production of farmers, alongside income. Supply of maize in the market is registered through improved production. Maize production in the country increase thus increase availability of quality of maize thus making Cameroon a production zone

End results: The workshop will provide the girls with the necessary knowledge and techniques to creates beautiful and marketable bead products. By learning these skills, they will be able to generate income for themselves and contribute to the economic growth of Cameroon. Beads making is a versatile and creative craft that has the potential to be a profitable business. The girls will be taught various bead making techniques, including stringing, weaving and designing. They will also learn about different types of beads, their uses and how to incorporate them into jewelry, accessories and home décor items.
