Established in 2017

Building Together Cameroon is a woman led organization that envisages a GBV free community, where every adolescent girl and single women is educated, her rights are respected, and she is given equal opportunities and resources to reach her full potential.

Our mission is to:
1- develop and facilitate access to information on Sexual and Gender-Based violence with the help of experts and disseminate it with the use of community radios, posters, and the internet;

2- advance adolescent girls and Young Women`s rights and education;

3- prevent and respond to Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV);

4- empower internally displaced persons especially young females by training them on farming, business & transformation, and helping them to acquire leadership and personal development skills;

About

The founder

Endouh Anna Yerimah

Endouh Anna Yerimah is a human rights advocate and gender development worker with a background in Conflict Management.

She founded Building Together Cameroon, a women-led platform organization whose mission is to advance adolescent girls and Young Women`s rights and education, prevent and respond to Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV), and empower internally displaced women, teenage girls, single mothers in Cameroon by training them on farming, business, leadership, and resilient skills.

She envisages a GBV-free community, where every adolescent girl and single woman is educated, her rights are respected, and she is given equal opportunities and resources to reach her full potential. Remarkably, through Building Together Cameroon she has championed the cause of spotlighting agriculture as a powerful economic driver and financial prosperity!

Her astounding results in this field stand her out as a champion of bridging the gap, by linking poor female farmers/cooperatives, startups and small businesses, and high-profile farmers and enterprises in and out of Cameroon.
